Present and past members of St Edmund’s joined with our local partners at New Road Methodist Church, and community leaders and representatives, to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Consecration of our Parish Church.

Former Bishop of Wakefield, Stephen Platten, preached, exploring how N.F. Cachemaille-Day (who designed St Edmund’s) was ‘one of the most daring, ground-breaking and prolific ecclesiastical architects of the twentieth century … [and] a pioneer in bringing people and priest together.’

A new photographic exhibition by local artist Naomi Maxwell, celebrating acts of fellowship in Waltham Forest, also premiered.
