The following activities are prohibited in the church halls: (1) Any illegal act, trade or business, or unlawful activity, (2) The sale or the offer of sale of alcohol without an appropriate personal licence issued by the local authority, (3) Cash bingo or any commercial betting or gambling, where proceeds are used for
private gain, (4) Séances, tarot readings, psychic readings, clairvoyance, (5) Discrimination against members of the community, such as on the basis of their race or ethnicity, sex or sexuality, religion or culture, (6) Exorcism; or proselytising in a way that impacts negatively on the mission and ministry of the Church of England or its ecumenical partners in this parish, (7) Acts of worship (including preaching and healing ministry), prayer meetings, classes
teaching or promoting faith or religion, that have not been notified to and approved in advance by the PCC. Please indicate whether your event/hire will include any of these (required)



Once you have submitted your enquiry, we will check availability and arrange a meeting with you on site to show you the facilities and go through the conditions of hire. Bookings are only confirmed after …

  • this site visit
  • the receipt of a hire agreement (issued by us) and payment of security deposit
  • payment of the full hire charge (no later than four weeks before your event )
